THE DAILY SHOW!

Last week I went back up to New York City, like I do every couple months, but this time my friend Dizzle and I scored tickets to be on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart! I think Jon Stewart is hilarious and I love his show, so of course I was pretty excited to go see it in person. We thought the show started taping at 4pm (it didn’t) so we got there around 2:30 and we third in line. The line quickly wrapped around and was almost to the side of the studio. After standing outside in the cold with set hands yelling “rules” at us ( about cameras and cell phone use) for close to four hours we were finally let inside,and then let onto the set to take our seats. Dizzle and I had perfect seats in the center of the third row. After a few minutes of q and a with Jon Stewart, he was ready to start the show. The show was really good, he talked about the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, chatted with author Stacy Schiff about her new book about Cleopatra and then pretty much ragged on Sarah Palin the rest of the time. I think the show turned out great, it was really funny and I had a lot of fun.
