STAY AWESOME TOUR 2012
One summer my best friend and I got STAY AWESOME tattooed on us. His on the back on his legs and mine across the tops on my knees.
This summer we decided to drop everything and drive across the country.I quit my job and he moved out of his New York city apartment and he got in the car and head out. We were gone for over thirty days and I had the best time of my life with my best friend. Here are photos from our trip, in order of our destinations.
MILAN ITALY / ANTWERP BELGIUM
I forgot to mention that the amazing team at Dries booked me for about a week and a half! I got a call from my agnecey saying that I would be taking trip to Belgium to work the Dries Van Notten modeling the whole line for their showroom! I was beyond excited knowing I would meet and get to work so closely with the Dries Van Notten team. The whole team were some of the nicest people I have ever met, really, and they liked me so much they decided to fly me over to Milan so I could do the show room there as well! So for about a week and a half I was just walking around in their showrooms, full of buyers for huge stores in some of the nicest clothes I had ever worn. And when they found out that I was vegan they just had a chef cook me special meals whenever I asked, it was one of most amazing things that had even happened to me. Anyway, here are some pictures from my stay in Belgium and my trip to Italy. And one last HUGE thank you to everyone at Dries, I hope to see you very soon,
Also, during the flight to Milan we flew over the Swiss Alps and the view was just breathtaking.
Paris Fashion Week ‘12
Also, here are some pictures from the shows I was lucky enough to be a part of this year. I did a total of four azaming shows with six great looks. The first show was the Dries Van Notten show, which made my jaw drop when I booked it, because I really love his stuff. The Dries show was one, if not the coolest show that I have ever done, with a few muralists in the backgound painting the whole time. You can also watch the show in it’s entirety on the Dries Van Notten website. The second show was Hermes, which again was mind blowingly awesome. I mean Hermes, holy crap. After the first two shows I picked up the Lavan show the very next day, which was super intense with very bold lighting and was held in a aircraftt hanger I believe. The final show I did was for Cerruti. This show was really cool as well, with a stage made up entirely of mirrors, lights and trap doors. Anyway, never in a million years did I think that I would be apart of Fashion Week in Paris modeling such amazing clothes. So happy I had the chance to do so and I can not wait to go back.
